Strong candidates are those with the passion and motivation to learn about how the brain functions during behavior. If you already have gained some relevant experimental and computational skills, that would be a plus!
Technicians and research staff: Research technicians with prior expertise in systems and behavioral neuroscience are welcome to apply.
Master's & undergraduate students: Undergraduates with the following interests are welcome to apply: experimental (systems/behavioral neuroscience in mice), engineering (mechanical, electrical, computer, 3D printing), and computational (machine learning, modeling).
Available research position: We are looking for a student (master's, undergrad (junior up), PhD (on TA/ with PI permission)) to work on an exciting project involving mechatronics skills. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge of : microcontrollers (eg, Arduino), basic circuits, CAD, 3D printing, and Python (or MATLAB) programming to build a setup for mice to perform a behavioral task.
